About us
Sithech Ltd's farm waste recycling scheme was set up in response to the The Waste Management (England and Wales) Regulations 2006 (known as the Agricultural Waste Regulations), which became law in May 2007.
"Being a farmer myself, I looked into the various schemes and companies that were already established. The majority were too expensive, did not take all the types of waste that my farm generates and required me to purchase expensive storage containers."
Will Shaw -Company Director and Farmer.
Our aims
Sithech aim to make recycling and waste disposal as cheap and easy as possible. The company was set up by a farmer and is run for farmers.
"The best person to understand a farmers needs and problems is another farmer."
So our aims are simple:
To not just dispose of waste in landfill but to recycle as much waste as possible.
To reduce the amount of red tape and paperwork our members need to complete.
To provide a cost effective solution tailored to the needs of farmers.
