Sithech Guidelines
Inorder to keep cost to our customers as low as possible we ask that your sort your waste, on site, into the following categories :
Materials
Silage wrap
Contamination of silage wrap is a significant problem. Every effort must be made to minimize contamination.
Must be as clean and dry as possible.
Black wrap must be packaged seperately. White and other colours can be mixed.
Cleanliness and quality of wrap are important. Storing of silage wraps under cover solves many problems.
Net wrap
Contamination is a significant problem. Please keep as clean as possible.
Feed bags
Please seperate paper and plastic feed bags.
Store inside out thereby ensuring bag is emptied of all contents.
Seed Bags
Must be dry.
Store inside out thereby ensuring bag is emptied of all contents.
Fertiliser sacks
Must be dry.
Store inside out thereby ensuring bag is emptied of all contents.
Inner and outer bag should be stored seperately as they are different types of plastic.
Chemical containers
The foils and lids must be removed and stored seperately.
All chemical containers must be triple washed before they will be accepted.
Bale Twine
Contamination is a significant problem. Please keep as clean as possible.
Ground cover
Must be as clean and dry as possible.
Tyres
A seperate charge applies to the disposal of tyres, please contact us.
Cardboard
As dry as possible.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept any waste which is contaminated / hazardous to health, has not been sorted correctly, has not been stored correctly or for any other reason.
